Good food, friendly staff!

Food is pretty good, but they are really slow. Food does not come out of the kitchen fast enough. I don't know if this is because of the way it is prepared or lack of staff. The waitresses seem to vanish and we had to flag them down to get the rest of my order and a refill on my drink. Took way to long to get food.

Tables were sticky but you can't beat the home cooking taste, they put a lot of southern love into their food and if you haven't been I'd say give it a shot, they have a lot of good options.

Both the service and the food were amazing! Great portions and the best quality, Kourtney was a wonderful server. She made such amazing recommendations, will definitely eat here again. Don't let the rugged sign fool you, some of the best BBQ in the south.

Talk about good food and great service. I only came here because I was in the area for an event going on close by. So, it was only really luck that I ate here. But I'm very glad I did. The food was so very good. The sauces we're all delicious and so we're the sides. It was all fair prices, too. If you want good BBQ then you need not look anywhere else.

Hell No folks. Don't be lured nor trapped by what you think might be bbq! I was served a plate of dried up dead flesh that they wanted me to pay 11.75 for. I was so appalled and what they served me. Very polite and didn't charge us. But please, go to Texas or Nashville to learn what bbq is. Man oh man, scary stuff

Service is great! Sweet tea even better! And spicy jack nuggets are so tasty!

Some of the best barbeque in the area. You can actually taste the meat. Other places the smoke is too overwhelming but theirs is just right!! Great services.

Looks nice inside, one side a restaurant with food and beer/ drinks, one side a lounge. The food was ok. Pulled pork was good, brisket was sliced brisket that had a mean tough fat streak and looked fried after slicing. Smoked sausage was ok. I'll keep looking for my favorite bbq place in the area, this wasn't it.

Potato stuffed with brisket was delicious. Pig skins were lightly spiced and tasty. Service couldn't have been better.

A much nicer restaurant than the average hole in the wall BBQ joint. This is the best and nicest BBQ restaurant in this immediate area. Large menu with lots of choices of sides. Well kept and clean inside. The pulled pork was delicious. Moist and flavorful. Comes dry so you can add your own sauce. All 3 sauces were good. The baked beans and fries were also good. Service was prompt and polite. I'll be a regular here.

2nd time at sweeney's. Been some awesome food. Parents had ribs that were good. And I had some pulled chicken that was awesome

Very friendly and fast service. Great to dine in or to take out. Easy in and out from highway 58. Plenty of parking and seating. A lot of daily specials so check out the board when you enter to see what it is for that day. Tuesday is Take Out Tuesday, $14 Pork Family Packs

Party of four,... brisket sandwich, brisket plate, ribs & smoked sausage. All dishes were very good, especially liked the sweet & smoky BBQ sauce. Friendly and quick service. Enjoyed enough that we took a 1/2 lb of brisket home with us. We'll be frequenting Sweeney's!

Barely practicing social distancing,not enforcing mask wearing by employees,and not asking any Covid-19 questions to patrons or checking temps. The place has gone downhill in last year,pre Covid.

Mustard based slaw was very good. Fries were crisp.

Went thru drive thru to get lunch. Ordered 2 of the Beef Brisket dinners. The brisket was dry and sliced very thin. (Nothing like any brisket I've had before.) The okra was not done and barely warm. The toast was hard. Very disappointed with the food and I will be calling them about it.

I ordered a pork potato. The potato might have been baked a few days ago.. not sure. It was warmed up and it wasn’t edible. Be a long time before I give them any more of my money!

Good Barbaqued beef brisket, ready to go quickly, by friendly staff!

The three times or so that I've been here have been very middle of the road experience. Food is 3-3.5 at best. I've come two separate times a couple months apart recently.Tried to order the chopped chicken twice, was told twice they don't have it at lunch time. The second time this slightly annoyed me so I asked, "is this ever available?". Server laughed and said, "we actually have it all the time". Lol my luck seems to.be astronomical today, I think I'll play the lotto.Service is ok. Nothing special, nothing bad. After me giving this place a few chances, I think I'll eat lunch elsewhere. Only advice I have is, if you liked chopped chicken for lunch, don't eat here.

I had the large pulled pork sandwich and it didn't disappoint. It had plenty of meat and a very good flavor. The server was attentive and efficient. Very good experience.

Very laid back local restaurant. The service was good; the food was excellent! The prices were also very good. The portions were not too big, but were adequate. This place is definitely on my rotation.
